01 What is "your own cloud" anyway?
The same functions you know from Google Drive, Dropbox or Microsoft 365 (files, calendars, contacts, working together), except that everything runs on a server assigned to you instead of in the data centers of a US corporation. You keep sovereignty over your data and pay no per-user license to a platform provider.
02 Who is it worth it for?
For businesses that work with sensitive customer or business data, want to keep control over it or are simply tired of rising per-user subscription costs. Your own cloud can also make sense for private individuals with lots of photos and documents. Whether it adds up in your case is something we clarify honestly in the initial consultation.
03 Where will my data run then?
On a server you know: either on your own hardware on your premises or on a server set up for you with a provider of your choice — usually located in Germany. We set everything up and tell you transparently where everything is stored.
04 Do you handle the migration from Google or Microsoft?
Yes. We migrate files, calendars and contacts carefully and according to plan — step by step and without bringing your day-to-day business to a standstill. Your team gets a short introduction so the switch actually lands in everyday work.
05 What does your own cloud cost?
A one-off fee for the setup, ongoing costs for running the server and, if you wish, ongoing care under the service agreement — updates, backups and help when questions come up.
